According to Engadget, it didn’t take long for Epic to confirm details about Chapter 3 of Fortnite. The developer has officially released a trailer showing what users expect of Chapter 3 and its first season called Flipped. The new island is a star, with the twist from the end of Chapter 2 leading to a total landscape overhaul with turbulent weather. However, the gameplay changes are arguably more important, which will cause players to reshape their tactics.

The sliding and shaking mechanism will help you move and dodge faster than before. Camp will help your team heal and store items that last between matches. You can also earn XP in addition to the battle royale and keep the Victory Crown if you keep winning. Epic is clearly hoping to promote a non-combat metaverse and keep its top players back.

Finally, new characters appear. Spider-Man is a great fit for the new swinging mechanic, but you can also play The Rock’s Fortnite character – Dwayne Johnson – in The Foundation, or Marcus and Kait’s Gears of War.
