Although Amazon did not specify why it shut down the service, data from Semrush shows that Alexa Internet traffic has declined over the past decade. Besides, websites seem to care less about Alexa ranking, so Amazon may have made the decision to say goodbye to it.
In preparation for this move, Amazon has stopped new registrations for Alexa.com subscribers, while existing subscribers can access their accounts until May 1, 2022 and will lose it. access after that date. However, they can export their own from different tools of the service if desired.
