According to CNBC, Facebook announced on December 9 that it is opening Horizon Worlds, a virtual reality avatar world, to all users 18 years of age and older in the US and Canada. The Horizon Worlds beta was launched last year, selecting Oculus virtual reality (VR) headset users to send invitations to.
