According to VCG, developer Ebb Software has committed to an October 2022 release date for the horror game Scorn on Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms. The release date is announced via the latest trailer for the title, the delay is more than a year compared to the original planned duration in 2021.
Announced during the Xbox Series X software showcase in May 2020, Scorn is inspired by the work of artists HR Giger (Alien) and Zdzisław Beksiński. “Scorn is a first-person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe filled with eerie and gloomy shapes” according to the Serbian-based developer..

“Each location has its own theme (story), puzzles, and characters that are integral to creating a cohesive world. Throughout the game, you’ll open up new areas, acquire different skill sets, weapons, and items, and try to learn the introduced locations,” Ebb added.
Last year, a 13-minute Scorn trailer was also published that intrigued players. Scorn will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
