Theo Engadget, Weird West is Arkane co-creator Raphael Colantonio’s new RPG, which won’t launch this year. Colantonio’s Wolfeye Studios said they are delaying the game’s launch until March 31, 2022. In an email from Devolver Digital’s publisher, Weird West sent to Engadget, Wolfeye said it needed more time to resolve many of the bugs and other issues.
Weird West delayed until the end of March next year
As part of the game’s closed beta, many players found many bugs that happened to happen during the experience, preventing them from completing a level as expected. Those issues are not unusual for the role-playing genre where player choices can have a significant effect on the world inside a game. In Weird West, there is a complication that time still passes even if your character dies. So Wolfeye said they wanted to create the best experience possible, and fans had to wait another three months to experience the studio’s first project.
