The HT-A9 uses exclusive Sony 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology to perceive sound coming from all directions and distances. With Sound Field Optimization, the A9 uses dual microphones in each speaker to analyze their pitch and relative position in space. 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology will create up to 12 virtual speakers from 12 real drivers in 4 physical speakers through the synthesis of direct sound waves and ceiling/wall echoes.
The ultimate surround sound on the HT-A7000 with a 7.1.2-channel soundbar system is set up with two ceiling speakers to create sound from above, two horizontal beam tweeters, and five front speakers for a wider sound field and speakers. Dual subwoofers are built in to create a deep bass range. Combined with Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround technology, the A7000 creates surround sound with an ultra-wide sweet spot so users can fully enjoy the greatness of Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® standards.

HT-A9 and HT-A7000 officially arrived in Vietnam with expected retail prices of 48,490,000 VND and 31,990,000 VND respectively. Particularly, the SA-SW5 wireless subwoofer is expected to cost VND 16,199,000, the SA-SW3 is priced at VND 7,999,000 and the SA-RS3S is priced at VND 7,699,000.
