The CPU section itself with the new Zen 3+ cores is about 1.3x (30 percent) faster on average. The company also introduced a boost clock power of 5GHz on the CPU cores – a really impressive number for a mobile processor. AMD is moving to 6nm lithography for Rembrandt.
AMD has also released some new Rembrandt chips’ faster speed metrics related to the performance of some popular apps. Note that the metrics indicate best-case scenarios, not the overall 30% improvement the company mentioned earlier.
The company also boasts battery life on laptops using the new Ryzen 6000 Rembrandt 6nm mobile APU, saying users can expect up to a full day of battery life.
Finally, the company made an official announcement about integrating Microsoft’s Pluton security processors on the new APUs, making them the world’s first PC processors with Pluton functionality.
