According to GameRant, Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service is constantly adding new games, but there are also titles that are periodically removed from the list. Microsoft typically removes games from Xbox Game Pass in two batches mid- and late-month. Recently, Microsoft revealed that 6 games will be removed from Xbox Game Pass in the first half of January 2022.

The first game to be removed from Xbox Game Pass in January was PUBG: Battlegrounds, on 12.01. PUBG: Battlegrounds was the game that kicked off the battle royale craze and has maintained a large fan base, but Xbox Game Pass users shouldn’t stress too much about it being removed. PUBG: Battlegrounds continues to be released for free, so Xbox gamers can still play without paying.

The remaining games that will leave Xbox Game Pass are Desperados 3, Ghost of a Tale, Mount & Blade: Warband, Pandemic: The Board Game and YIIK: A Postmodern RPG, on January 15. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have nearly 2 weeks to play these games before they disappear.
As for the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in January, Microsoft has yet to reveal the full list. But know the game title The Anacrusis will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on January 13, and then on other games like Pupperazzi and Windjammers 2 on January 20.
