Overprime is a MOBA game project that is “fluttering” MOBA game lovers when it has just revealed the first information. The game has been revealed to use the Unreal Engine 4 platform, making many people think that the game will be in the MMORPG or ARPG genre like a typical Korean blockbuster AAA game.

However, this is actually a MOBA project, using Paragon content that Epic Games once developed. Since Epic announced that it would license all Paragon-related things for free after leaving it unfinished, Netmarble – the Korean game industry giant took advantage of this generosity to develop Overprime.

Overprime belongs to the genre of MOBA 3D shooter 3D (TPS), is the first game Netmarble developed for the PC platform running Windows operating system. The game combines the “quintessence” of the 3D TPS shooter genre and the MOBA series to bring to the sci-fi inspired battlefield built using the massive Unreal Engine 4 graphics platform.
As usual, players will participate in 5vs5 matches, holding one of the different roles on the map to coordinate with teammates to create a good, tactical squad. The game is expected to be released in 2022.
