2022 is predicted to be one of the boom years of the gaming industry when there are many new titles released as well as many titles in 2021 that have been delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic. Here are the most anticipated titles.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human (4.2.2022)
![]() |
February and March 2022 have more releases coming. Dying Light 2 Stay Human has been out for a while now as many open world zombie games have become popular and it continues with a brand new ambition for the most realistic world. So it will be interesting to see how Dying Light 2 breathes new life into an old formula.
Dying Light 2 released on 4.2 on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
Sifu (8.2.2022)
![]() |
The first appearance of Sifu left a strong impression, and it is a rhythm action adventure game with lifelike elements. Severe injuries also age the protagonist, adding a unique twist to the classic kung-fu tale of hunting down and defeating the enemy who murdered the protagonist’s family. All in all, it’s been garnering attention so far, and it will be interesting to see how it holds up against the backdrop of many early 2022 game launches.
Sifu released on February 8 on PC, PS4 and PS5 platforms.
Horizon Forbidden West (18.2.2022)
![]() |
Horizon Forbidden West will see Aloy’s journey continue as she explores new locations. All sequels should build on and expand on their predecessors, and this one is no exception. Everything from teamfights and moves to Horizon Forbidden West’s skill tree and gameplay seem like they’re headed in the right direction. With a stellar story, it looks to be one worth watching next year.
Horizon Forbidden West releases February 18th on PS4 and PS5.
Elden Ring (25.2.2022)

Topping the list of most anticipated games is Elden Ring, the latest Souls action RPG from developer FromSoftware. It is the latest in a series of hardcore games like Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, etc., but it also has its own flair and distinction. FromSoftware is bringing the Souls recipe into an open-world environment, and that sounds incredibly ambitious.
Elden Ring released on February 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (18.3.2022)
![]() |
Building on ideas from the first game and adding some Souls elements, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin sees players take on the roles of Jack, Jed, and Ash in their quest to destroy Chaos. They were supposed to be the Warriors of Light but self-doubt, added a nice twist to the classic formula. The game has a rich career system, with character lines such as Dragoon, Monk, Thief, Knight and various Mages (White, Black Red) appearing. All in all, this is a unique take and could very well stand out among the other releases of March.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin released on March 18 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands (25.3.2022)
![]() |
Borderlands and Dungeons and Dragons have always had a unique relationship, as Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is often hailed as one of the best Borderlands DLC. That same idea is being expanded into Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands early next year, in which players will be able to transform into a Fatemaker character (that’s BRR-Zerker, Clawbringer, Spellshot, Stabbomancer, etc.). Combining DnD RPG elements with a Borderlands approach provides a wild ride.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands released on March 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
