2022 promises to be one of the boom years of the gaming industry when there are many new titles released as well as many titles in 2021 that have been delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic. Here are the most anticipated titles.
Forspoken (24.5.2022)

Forspoken surprised many by emphasizing the ability to fluidly convey gameplay and narrative-driven story in an open world. About Frey Holland, a woman is transported from NYC to this fantasy world, and she must use magical powers to save the world and find her way home. She also has a sentient bracelet called Cuff and it will be interesting to see how those characters work.
Forspoken released on May 24 on PC and PS5 platforms.
Saints Row (23.8.2022)

Saints Row will reboot this year and bring the series back to a classic style. Instead of taking over the galaxy, the new boss assembles a gang of disgruntled members of other gangs to capture the city of Santo Ileso from Los Panteros, idol and defense industry Marshall. The city has nine distinct districts that players can take over and can set up businesses and more. Co-op is back, players can design their own boss, and Saints Row has a unique quest progression.
Saints Row released on August 23 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
Starfield (11.11.2022)

It’s rare for a developer to set a game’s release date as early as a year like Bethesda did with Starfield. Maybe it’s because 11/11 is a special day for the company, which is also Skyrim’s anniversary. While not much has been announced about the game yet, players are ready to see how Bethesda’s latest IP will hold up against greats like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

Redfall (Q3 2022)

Arkane received a lot of praise this year with Deathloop, and the studio is about to launch another game on a completely different platform next year. Redfall is due out on PC and Xbox Series X next year, and it’s an open-world action-adventure first-person shooter. Players will take on the role of one of four characters (cryptocurrency researcher Devinder, remote control engineer Layla, combat engineer Remi, and marksman hunter Jacob) as they slay vampires. It looks like this is a vampire-style Left 4 Dead game.
Redfall is slated to release on PC and Xbox Series X/S in 2022.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns (Q3/Q4 2022)

In the past few years, Marvel’s business situation has been quite good, not only on the cinema front but also in the game segment. After hits like Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, fans are excited about anything Marvel-related. With gameplay similar to the XCOM series, in Marvel’s Midnight Suns gamers will get to create their own customizable superhero called The Hunter and play alongside Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Doctor Strange, Blade, Ghost Rider, etc. Marvel + XCOM have received a lot of attention.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in 2022.
