Halo Infinite’s Urgent Fix Still Doesn’t Completely Fix Big Team Battle Mode |
The Big Team Battle mode crashed around the end of 2021, finding matches was a pain and a lot of players were stuck in the game’s lobby for a long time. . In some cases, players will be ‘dropped’ from the queue, sometimes even finding themselves in unbalanced matches and much more.

According to testing from Kotaku, the fix has somewhat mitigated the existing problem, allowing players to participate in several rounds without errors, can connect quickly and experience no lag. However, there are still many comments from other players that they have to wait a long time to play the game, and the developer itself has confirmed the problem has not been completely resolved.
As a move to apologize for the persistent problem, the publisher has brought an update, adding 5 more XP boosts (single-use items that double XP for an hour) and 5 items exchange challenge missions (a single-use item that allows you to swap out one of the weekly challenges) to your Halo Infinite account.
It’s unclear when the full fix will be released. When reached for comment, Microsoft, the publisher of Halo Infinite, did not have anything to add beyond official public statements.
