However, the widespread application of quantum technology also encounters a problem called “cost”, when the process of quantum encryption requires expensive specialized equipment. On the US side, quantum technology is strongly developed by private entities. In 2019, Google introduced the Sycamore 53 quantum bit (qubit) processor with the ability to solve a supercomputing problem that took 10,000 years to process in just 3 minutes.
In addition, Amazon Web Services (AWS), QuEra and PsiQuantum also achieved many achievements, as well as many plans to develop quantum technology in the future.
